At Azaria’s Luxury Hair we believe it is important to take care of your natural hair before having it flawlessly installed. Before installing your raw hair extensions, you may:

Pre-poo - Apply your favorite oils to your natural hair and allow to steam for 30 mins with heat or 1hr without heat.

Shampoo - Use a clarifying shampoo as your first wash then follow up with a moisturizing shampoo.

Treat - Depending on your hair type, a light/heavy protein treatment will ensure that your hair is at its optimal strength and ready for your extension to be installed.
PRE-INSTALLATION GUIDE
Your Azaria’s Luxury Hair is washed prior to each order so you can simply install your hair and go. Before each installation thereafter, we suggest you wash and deep condition your hair prior to installing.
INSTALLATION GUIDE
When installing your extensions remember to use the "over and out" method. Avoid piercing the needle through the wefts of the hair. Utilize the flip-over method instead of cutting the wefts to avoid shedding and weft unraveling. Even though our wefts are custom-made, we advise that you care for them the best way you can to ensure the longevity of your extensions.
MAINTENANCE
STRAIGHT & WAVY TEXTURE

Use a wide-tooth comb to remove all tangles daily. Start from the ends and work your way up.

Keep your hair light by applying a dime-sized amount of alcohol-free serum when needed.

Wash hair with a moisturizing conditioner once a week and shampoo every other week.

Let hair air dry and avoid touching to prevent frizz.

Use a light heat-protectant for flat ironing and curling.

Braid hair loosely and wear a satin scarf for bedtime.
MAINTENANCE
CURLY TEXTURE

Fill a spray bottle with water and add a few pumps of conditioner. This would be your everyday moisturizer.

Section hair and spray generously with conditioner mixture.

Use your Denman brush to detangle, start from ends and work your way up.

Keep your curls defined by using gels and styling creams with extra moisture and serious frizz control.

Let hair air dry without touching curls to prevent frizz.

For more defined curls scrunch your hair up after detangling and let air dry or dry with a diffuser.

Keep your hair light by only using a light heat-protectant for flat ironing/curling when necessary.

Co-wash 3-4 times weekly and shampoo every other week. Repeat step 3 before washing.

Before going to bed, put your hair in a high bun and wrap it with your satin scarf (Do not sleep on wet hair, it will tangle).
Care for your Azaria’s Luxury Hair extensions better than you would care for your hair! Your natural hair comes from your scalp, thus is able to receive nutrients from you to grow and remain healthy. Once this hair is cut from the donor, it is no longer able to receive those nutrients, it is your job to give the hair the moisture it requires!
